FILM/TELEVISION PRODUCTION IThis is the foundational course in the Multimedia Production pathway. This course is A-G approved and counts as a Fine Art elective. This class is also articulated with LA Valley College and its Media Arts 100 class; students who earn a C or better in this class can earn high school credit as well as 3 college credits transferrable to other colleges and universities.
Students in this course gain the introductory knowledge, skills, and experiences necessary for a career in film and television production. Students work collaboratively in this class in order to create a variety of video projects in both Film and Broadcast Journalism. These projects include:

TELEVISION PRODUCTION IIThis is the concentrating course in the Multimedia Production pathway. This course is A-G approved and counts as a Fine Art elective. This class is also articulated with LA Valley College and its Broadcast 46 class; students who earn a C or better in this class can earn high school credit as well as 3 college credits transferrable to other colleges and universities.
Students in this course build their knowledge, skills, and experiences necessary for a career in film and television production. Students in this course produce a daily news show for the students and staff at John Burroughs High School. As reporters in this class, students work in a variety of news studio-based jobs as well as produce news stories and segments. |
